We are pleased to announce “Stand Up,” a solo exhibition of contemporary artist Yuta Fukazawa at tagboat’s gallery space on the 7th floor of Hankyu MEN’S TOKYO, Ginza.
He depicts motifs extracted from ordinary scenes of daily life so vividly and beautifully that they seem to burn into the viewer’s eyes. His new works, mainly landscapes close to his hometown, touch the viewer’s heart with lyrical richness through vivid color expression and bold strokes using plenty of paint.
The landscapes, with their glossy, three-dimensional surfaces and vivid colors, are filled with something inexpressible and unconscious, and are not simply neat and beautiful; they are reflections of Fukazawa’s mind, a world that only he can express.
In this fourth solo exhibition, we will exhibit and sell 12 new works, including some large pieces.
Please come and see the long-awaited new works that look toward a bright future in the midst of a worsening world.
