We are pleased to announce “Act and Time,” a solo exhibition by contemporary artist Minako Ishikawa at the tagboat gallery space on the 7th floor of Hankyu MEN’S TOKYO, Ginza.
Minako Ishikawa creates beautiful color gradations with ultra-fine acrylics. Her ideas, precision, and concentration create a dazzling illusion of gradation.
The delicate lines she draws with an awareness of her breathing so that her brush pressure does not change, gradually altering the hues of the paint, create gradations that resemble atmospheric gradations. The colorful hues look like endless skies and oceans, while the spectrum of rainbow colors evokes shifting light. The breathtaking transparency and vivid rainbow-colored rings are the traces of a quest for the future that cannot be seen.
In this fourth tagboat solo exhibition, we will exhibit and sell new works that have been eagerly awaited. Please come and see the signals of light created by the transparent shades of color.
