Chihiro Kudo is a talented artist, who has been selected for the “Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Art Museum Exhibition” and the “Shell Art Award” after completing her graduate studies at Nagoya University of Arts. Kudo’s new collection is so popular that they are sold out as soon as being released.

This is her third solo exhibition at TAGBOAT, and she uses the technique of drawing a new work based on a material image that combines past works and images of people. By connecting a number of ambiguous memories, tracing them, and creating new forms, she attempts to create a sensation that transcends his intentions. The figures, characterized by their soft touch, express the environment in which people live along with hazy memories and landscapes through their hair color, and the facial expressions of the figures change from moment to moment, like a mirror reflecting the viewer’s mind.

Supple but strong. Gentle but scary. In this third solo exhibition, many new works will be exhibited and sold. Please come and see the expressions of warmth and gentleness in the midst of fear and anxiety.
